Now Hiring for BolderBOULDER 2010 Seasonal Employment

We are looking for exceptional people who share our love for the BolderBOULDER, our participants we serve, the merchandise we sell, and the work we do! After you check the list of available jobs below please download the application, type in all the requested information and save the pdf as a  new file with your name as the title.  Then email your file in pdf format to seasonaljobs@bolderboulder.com.  You may also print the application and mail it to us.  Be as specific as possible with job interest and hours availablity.

Successful candidates must be available to work Memorial Day weekend, including Monday, May 31, 2010.  All applicants must also have the flexibility to work all or part of other weekends in May.  Candidates must be 18 or older (drivers must be at least 21, possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record).

Seasonal pay for non-supervisory positions is $8.75 to $9.75 per hour.  Complimentary merchandise, merchandise discounts and lunch on us leading up to the race (the last few days of race week) are offered to all seasonal employees.  Please advise during the interview process of any commitments that may affect your availablilty to fulfill the entire job timeframe.

Our positions include:

DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST

Dates of employment: 
March through Monday, May 31, 2010. Candidates must be able to work a portion of Memorial Day Weekend, and must be able to work raceday, Monday, May 31.

Type of position: 
Part-time to Full-time (6 to 8 hours per day everyday Monday through Friday and a portion of some weekends as required as well as race day, Monday, May 31). Day-shift.

Job Specifics: 
Excellent typing and data entry skills required.  Must be confident using computer systems, proficient at using the internet and web based email programs, capable of converting race distances to 10K equivalent, and miscellaneous other tasks as required. 
Performs some customer service functions primarily via email to answer routine questions, and initiate problem resolution with respect to assigning bib numbers to online entries. 

ENTRY PROCESSING - This position is filled.

Dates of employment: 
Mid April through Monday, May 31. Candidates must be able to work a portion of Memorial Day Weekend, including raceday, Monday, May 31.

Type of position:
Part-time to Full-time (15 to 40 hours per week). Day-shift.

Job Specifics:
Balance race entry transactions and enter data in POS system. Assign bib numbers to entries. Perform customer service functions by responding to routine questions primarily via email.  Windows experience is helpful.  Must be intuitive, fast and accurate.

HELP DESK SPECIALIST WEEKDAYS AND WEEKENDS

Dates of employment: 
Late March through raceday, Monday, May 31, 2010. Two positions will continue through mid June.  Candidates must be able to work a portion of Memorial Day Weekend, and must work on raceday, Monday, May 31.

Type of position: 
Full-time (8 hours per day everyday Monday through Friday through mid May; then 4 days per week during the week and one weekend day). 3 to 4 positions available.  Day-shift.

Job Specifics: 
Answer phones, respond to emails, and promote BolderBOULDER through other special office projects. Good communication skills with focus on providing excellent customer service. Must be a quick learner, and confident using the computer, internet and email services.

RETAIL SPECIALIST 

Dates of employment: 
Early April through Friday, June 4, 2010. Candidates must be able to work Memorial Day Weekend, including race day, Monday, May 31.

Type of position: 
Part-time to full time (15 hours per week minimum up to possibly 35 to 40 hours). Flexible shifts; days, early evenings, week and weekend work.

Job Specifics: 
Provides in-store registration and retail sales at our seasonal store. Troubleshoot problems and provide excellence customer service. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Position requires a high school diploma with two years of experience. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

RETAIL – STOCK CLERK

Dates of employment:
Mid-March through Mid-June. Candidates must be able to work Memorial Day Weekend, including Monday.

Type of position (2 positions):
Part-time to full-time (15 hours per week minimum up to possibly 35 to 40 hours). Evening and weekend shifts.

Job Specifics:
Stocks supply room and retail area with new inventory. Takes inventory and identifies reorder needs for supervisor approval. Confirms order forms and delivery requests. Position requires a high school diploma with two years of experience. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

RETAIL - MOBILE REGISTRATION

Dates of employment:
Early March through early June. Candidates must be able to work Memorial Day Weekend, including Monday.

Type of position (1 position):
Part-time to full-time (15 hours per week minimum up to possibly 35 to 40 hours). Evening and weekend shifts.

Job Specifics:
Provides on-site registration and retail sales at sponsor locations. Employee must be able to work with little supervision. Must possess valid drivers license with a very good driving record.
