Rachel Hardies
Rachel has been coaching for BoldRunning for two years. She has also coached middle school cross-country and was a coach for a fitness boot camp. Her love of running in her freshman year of high school. She started running 5k's then tried progressively longer races until she did her first marathon in 2000. In 2002, Rachel achieved her goal of running a sub-4-hour marathon; finishing the Chicago Marathon in 3:57. She has a goal of a sub-3:30 to be obtained at a future time. In 2006, Rachel and her mom ran the Disney World half- and full-marathon to complete the inaugural Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge. Rachel's fastest Bolder Boulder was a 45:30 and her fastest 5k was a 21:07. Rachel has a BA in Kinesiology and is working toward a Master's in Counseling Psychology. Through her coaching, she hopes to help others find a love of running within themselves |
