This year Boulder celebrates its Sesquicentennial. BolderBOULDER hasn't been around for 150 years, but we took this opporunity to see what parts of the course looked like back in the day. All photos are courtesy of the Boulder Historical Society.

You know it as Folsom Hill just past mile 1, but originally it was called Lover's Hill. Here a grading team works on the road in 1890.

Chevrolet Bel Air approaching the Boulder Creek bridge (just before mile 6) in 1956.

The Hotel Boulderado in 1908. The course change in 2005 put this intersection (13th & Spruce) right before the 7K mark.

View taken from the roof of the State Preparatory School on Pearl at 17th Street in 1903. The view is a little different now as runners head east toward the 8K mark.
