2010 Qualifying Waves

The first waves in the race are qualifying waves and require proof.  All other waves require no proof even if your predicted time is faster than 1:08:00.

In order to register and run in one of these waves we require you to submit proof of a qualifying time (qualifying grid available in early 2011)

You must prove that you have run a 10K in under 1:08:00 or another distance in an equivalent time.

Please wait until after you have run your qualifying event to register for the DICK'S Sporting Goods BolderBOULDER.

Either of the following work as proof:

Your 2010 BolderBOULDER finish time

- OR -

A finisher's certificate, printed race result, web results, or newspaper article from another race you have run since May 31, 2010. We can convert any race, from two miles up to a marathon, into an equivalent 10k time.

If you mail your entry, attach a copy of your proof to the entry form when you mail it. Make sure your printout includes the race name, distance, date, your name, and your time.

If you register online, please cut and paste your results (your name, the race name, distance, race date and time) into an email, along with the link to the specific page that your race results are posted. Also include whether you chose to have your packet mailed or to which location your packet should be delivered.  Send the email immediately after you register online to BolderBOULDER
.

Need a qualifying time?

You can take the Treadmill Test at the BolderBOULDER store at Twenty Ninth Street from Sunday, April 10 through Friday, May 27, 2011 for an extra $5 fee. We will also have the treadmills out at the SportsEXHIBIT on race weekend.

If you can run two miles on our treadmill at a 1% grade (to compensate for wind resistance) in 20:34 or less, you are guaranteed a spot in one of the qualifying waves.
