5K Invitational

You are the elite runner! The 5K invitational races are based on 10K finish times in the 2010 DICK'S Sporting Goods BolderBOULDER in two minute increments from 38 to 62 minutes. For example, runners who ran the BolderBOULDER 10K in 44:00-45:59 are invited to that ColderBOLDER 5K race. The invite times are not meant to be predicted 5K times. Invited athletes may only run in their invited race, or a faster one if their speed has improved since May. Open race for any runner at 10:10 am

8:10 am 40:00-41:59 Invite Race

8:20 am 42:00-43:59 Invite Race

8:30 am 44:00-45:59 Invite Race

8:40 am 46:00-47:59 Invite Race

8:50 am 48:00-49:59 Invite Race

9:00 am 50:00-51:59 Invite Race

9:10 am 52:00-53:59 Invite Race

9:20 am 54:00-55:59 Invite Race

Rewards

All participants will receive a unique giveaway and a hot Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit afterwards.  The top three finishers in each invite race (no separate awards for men and women) and the top three men and top three women in the open race walk away with a coveted penguin award. Afterwards everyone gets a hot Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit and drinks.

The race, breakfast and Headsweats beanie are all included in the $25 entry fee ($30 on race day).

Parking

Free parking is available in lots 436 (at Colorado and 28th) and 169 (accessed from Folsom near the Creek Path). The traffic gates through campus will be closed race morning, so please access the parking lots from 28th or Folsom.
