About BOLDERBoulder and FORTitude Races

The BOLDERBoulder, named America’s All-Time Best 10K by Runner’s World, is the 3rd largest running race in the United States and the 7th largest in the world. Over 50,000 runners, joggers, walkers, plus wheelchair racers representing all 50 states and more than 20 foreign countries race the BOLDERBoulder on Memorial Day. More than a dozen foreign countries field 3-person teams compete in the International Team Challenge for one of the largest non-marathon prize purses in road racing. The race finishes at the University of Colorado’s Folsom Field with more than 100,000 runners and spectators present.

The BOLDERBoulder, always run on Memorial Day, was originally postponed until Labor Day due to the response to the Coronavirus pandemic, and was to be run concurrently with the FORTitude race in Boulder, CO. Since then, the Labor Day race was also canceled. Now both races will be run virtually in the combined BOLDiTUDE Labor Day virtual run.

This year, 2020, would have been the 4th running for FORTitude 10K in Fort Collins, CO finishing at Colorado State University’s Canvas Stadium on Labor Day.
